Some exciting Kathie Winkle news!

I was moderating comments and deleting spam on this blog last week when a comment came through on an old post I'd written about my Kathie Winkle Pottery collection. It was from....drum roll....Kathie Winkle.

I thought it must be a hoax until I checked through and realised it was the real deal. Kathie is re- releasing some of her old designs on new mugs and a new dinner service. I'm sure you can imagine how excited I am given that I've been collecting her designs for 30 years or so! I am now following her on Instagram and she asked on twitter about everyone's favourite designs . As I'm not on twitter I can't respond there but thought I would put up some photos of my favourites here. I have about 120 pieces of many different designs, and I love them all really, but here are some especially pretty ones.

Also, here is her new website.

  2. I want a set of those beautiful mugs (I struggle to find a nice mug. I'm a bit fussy about mugs. I hate a thick lip? rim?), but I can't figure out how to order them...any hints?
( btw I haven't forgotten your plate or seeds x)

    1. Maybe they've sold already? I'd shoot them an email because it's not clear is it?

  7. Look at you and your actual Kathie Winkle conversation. (Would you in your wildest imaginings think that one day you'd be emailing back and forth with THE Kathie Winkle? Tee hee.) I had seen these mugs on ebay when looking up patterns but didn't realize they were actually from Kathie Winkle (thought they might have been... tributes...). They are lovely. Of course, being a shape I don't already own I am allowed to buy them, even by my strict new rules!
Haven't been by The Kingdom for a while - nice to see you.
    Cheers, Carla
PS Hi Kathie! You've got a few big fans here in Peterborough, Canada.
