Well, finally the The Rains Came and everyone rejoiced and once again Melbourne's roads and trains came to a standstill because people cannot seem to drive in the rain or trains function either, which seems absurd.
I saw about 20 minutes of the Academy Awards yesterday, which was plenty: best film, actor and actress. It was exciting because I'd actually seen two of the main films nominated, Silver linings playbook and Lincoln and I thought Daniel Day Lewis and Jennifer Lawrence were deserving winners.
Had to share this link to an entire page of gifs devoted to JLaw falling down. My favorite is Hugh Jackman and Bradley Cooper rushing to help her up. Sigh, they are lovely.
